The Honda CB 500X is a liquid-cooled, four stroke, DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder Naked Honda manufactured by Honda between 2013 and 2015. Maximum torque is 31.72 ft/lbs (43.0 Nm) 7000 RPM. The claimed horsepower is 46.94 HP (35.0 KW) 8500 RPM.

The 2013 CB500X is the second model year of the new mid-range adventure motorcycle that Honda has introduced to fill the 500cc niche. This bike retains all of its family-centered bulk design, and brings several tour-worthy features to make life more beautiful when in the saddle.

Honda CB500X 2016

The Honda CB500X is back again for 2016 as it should be for having been one of the better sellers of Honda’s 500 cc trio which includes the CBR500R sport bike, CB500F naked sport bike/streetfighter and CB500X adventure bike which we cover here. The CB500X was first released in 2013 and I have to say I was a bit surprised to see Honda throwing in some upgrades & changes to the CB500X so quickly.

PGM-FI PROGRAMMED FUEL INJECTION

The injector body helps the CB500X make more power. The bike’s PGM-FI continuously monitors several variables to ensure the correct fuel mixture is delivered for the prevailing riding and atmospheric conditions for sharp throttle response across a wide range of riding conditions.

SANDAL ASSISTANCE CLUTCH

The slipper/assist clutch allows us to reduce clutch lever effort by 45 percent, but automatically locks tight when you release it.

The advanced chassis with Honda Pro-Link® rear suspension, with 9-stage spring preload and 5.3 inches of travel gives you a comfortable ride over small bumps, while absorbing larger bumps for increased ride comfort and handling. The shock absorbers have large diameter internals for better damping characteristics and a smoother ride.
